From Limerick

A taxi to the University from Limerick City (~5km from the City Centre) will cost approximately €8.

There is a regular bus service running every 15 minutes on Saturdays and every 30 minutes on Sundays. Bus #304 stops in the University and leaves from William Street.

The bus service has recently changed. Please refer to the Bus Éireann map if you aren't familiar with the new service.

From Dublin

We suggest using the Dublin Coach and using the University of Limerick stop. Duration = 2hour 30 mins

Train: Take the train from Dublin Heuston to Limerick Colbert. Duration = ~2hours 15mins. If taking the train, you’ll need to get the bus from Limerick City Centre to the University of Limerick.

Other bus services include Bus Éireann and JJKavanagh

From Dublin Airport

There is a direct bus service from Dublin Airport to the University with JJKavanagh. Alternatively, there are several services from the Airport to Dublin City.

From Shannon Airport

The University of Limerick is located 25 km from Shannon International Airport. The airport provides details on travelling to Limerick on their webpage

The cost of a taxi from Shannon Airport to University of Limerick is approximately €45.
